Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
On your arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by a local driver/guide, who drives you to your hotel.
After a quick freshen-up, you’re ready to explore Nairobi and its surrounding areas.
Today, you will be
visiting the Giraffe Centre, where you will enjoy your first experience of African wildlife. Here, you will
be allowed to hand feed, stroke or even hug the elegant giraffes.
Lunch is served at Karen Coffee Garden – the old administration building of her coffee plantation –
followed by a visit to the legendary Karen Blixen Museum.
You will be picked up at the airport/hotel by your driver/guide, who will drive you south towards
Amboseli National Park.
Depending on when you landed in Nairobi, you will either eat lunch on the way to Amboseli or upon
your arrival at your lodge in Amboseli. That afternoon, the very first safari of the tour awaits you!

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park might be one of Kenya’s smallest, but great experiences await you here. The
park is especially famous for its large herds of elephants, many of which have some huge tusks. The sight
of the elephants with Kilimanjaro in the background is one of the most iconic images of Africa. The
sparse vegetation in Amboseli makes it easier to spot the wild animals. If you’re interested in birds, you
won’t be disappointed in Amboseli, as parts of the park remain swamp-like all year round. You have a
packed lunch with you today, which allows you to spend the whole day in the park.

A new day of new experiences awaits, as you head for Lake Naivasha. You will eat lunch on the way
before driving the last stretch to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake located at the highest point of the
Great Rift Valley, 1,890 metres above sea level. A boat trip on the lake awaits you in the afternoon. The
area is famous for its hippos, giraffes, waterbucks, vervet monkeys and profusion of birds, both
sedentary and migratory.

Day 5-6: Masai Mara Full Day Game Drive
The entire day is devoted to a game drive in Masai Mara game reserve. You will often be given a packed
lunch to eat along the way, allowing you to make the most of your time. It’s impossible to say what
you’ll see on a game drive, but we can almost guarantee large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras,
hippos, gazelles and buffaloes. And with prey come the predators: lions, hyenas, cheetahs and leopards.
But remember to keep an eye out for the smaller animals. A profusion of birds and colourful lizards are
hiding in the bushes.
You will get right up close to a host of animals, which you experience from the protection of the Land
Cruiser.
From July to October, you can experience the 1,200 km long migration of more than one million
wildebeest along with a couple of hundred thousand zebras plus countless Thompson gazelles.
It is during this migration that many gazelles fall victim to the huge Nile crocodiles when crossing the
Mara River. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or Similar
